K. C. Update Kicks Kicking Cancer is up and running again post-Katrina. Thank you all so much for your support and interest. We have a strong group of core volunteers who are committed to the continuation of KKC. We are currently planning the Celebrate Life Picnic which will be held May 6th, 2007 at Lyn Haven Park in Hammond, LA. If you are interested in helping with the picnic or other KKC events, please come to our next meeting on February 28th, 2007 at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held at the Patrick F. Taylor Hope Lodge on River Road. If you are unable to attend the meeting but are able to help or questions, please call or e-mail us (pdotson@oschner.org). A ttention: We are currently going through our mailing list and attempting to update incorrect information. Our present list goes back many years and many of our old patients have matured and move away. Thus, we are going to start a new list with patients who are currently on treatment and patients off treatment going to 2002. If you have moved since Hurricane Katrina or if you off treatment for more than five years but wish to remain on our list, please contact us with your address.
