Family Assistance Fund

The Family Assistance Fund was established to help families relieve a portion of their financial burden. Families must meet eligibility requirements and have a child currently undergoing treatment for cancer. Qualified families can obtain financial aid for necessary expenses such as medications not normally covered by insurance companies, gas cards, phone cards, transportation, wigs, meals and lodging when hospital stays become lengthy. The fund was activated on July 1, 2001. Funds are limited based upon availability of funding received through grants and fund-raising activities.
